The Bess waist coat has a straight fit and is spun in a black cotton velvet. The low rounded back has beautifully sculpted pleats sewn into the back with a vent coming up from the hem. Defined pleats run downwards from the waistline to the hem giving the illusion of a slimmer waist, a silhouette reminiscent of the Victorian era.
